Beta, also known as 'Geographic Research 2' or '9th World', was the final map in the Beta series of maps used for testing and fine-tuning the simulation elements of the Wurm game world. This map followed shortly after the writing of the 'AstroResearch 1' Wurmpedia Article, as the sky system was developed during the 8th World's lifetime. This work was primarily carried out by Notch. This map dump was originally hosted on Notch's private server, but has since been taken down. No full-scale copies exist on Archive.org. The best copy I could find was downscaled, so I have attempted to restore it to the best of my ability to original size.
