Usergroups allow you to securely share map data between a select group of players. Likewise, a usergroup also allows administrators of the group to modify and control access permissions for the accounts elected to it. You can think of it as your own private instance of WurmMaps - Nothing your group does can be seen by others, and vice versa.

Usergroups are our tried and tested solution to the necessity for detailed realtime tactical maps in Wurm Online PvP. We worked closely with numerous groups from both PVP and PVE servers, over a timespan of many years, to perfect the permission system and ensure that we can provide you every control you need to maintain and secure your kingdom's map data.

To Create a UserGroup:
• As a logged-in and verified user, click "Settings" at the very top of any page.
• Under "UserGroup", enter a strong unique password for your group, and ensure "+ Create Group" is selected.
• Write the password down, and don't lose it! Your friends will need it in order to join your group.
• Click submit - Done!

To Join an Existing UserGroup:
• As a logged-in and verified user, click "Settings" at the very top of any page.
• Under "UserGroup", enter the password you were given, and ensure "> Join Group" is selected.
• Click submit - Done!

I've joined a group, but I don't see any markers?
• When joining a group, your permissions are reset to "None" until an administrator of your new group raises your permission level.
• This prevents enemy kingdom players from getting access to your map data by knowing the group password.

Can I change my group password?
• Unfortunately not at this time. I have plans to enable this in future, but no ETA.
